Bible Doodle: 1 Corinthians 13:13

Coloring with colored pencils or gel pens is one of the ways I like to relax. Most of these pictures come from Waterbrook coloring books and are the works of a variety of artists. Their creativity has given me the opportunity to dwell on the meaning of the words while coloring.

Bible Doodle: Philippians 2:13

For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Philippians 2:13, NIV It occurred to me that this verse would be a good summary of Romans 13.

Bible Doodle: Psalm 46

Today my doodle is a musical one. Reading this Psalm comforts me, makes me feel secure in God’s sanctuary. Singing this psalm (as composed by Allan Pote) has brought me to His throne.

Bible Doodle: Truth Even When Depressed

Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? … No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. Romans 8:35-37

Bible Doodle: Transformed

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2

Bible Doodle: Romans 9:18-19

All we’re saying is that God has the first word, initiating the action in which we play our part for good or ill.Are you going to object, “So how can God blame us for anything since he’s in charge of everything? If the big decisions are already made, what say do we have in it?”… Read More
