Bob is strong;

Nothing seems to faze him.

Shirley has staying power;

She can work from dawn to dusk.

Mary has a vision;

Her life is focused on it.

Barry sets goals;

And follows step-by-step plans to achieve it.

So why did God leave me out

When he was passing out these traits?

Maybe the strength he gave me

Is being able to admit

That there are some things I just can’t handle,

I need crutches in order to cope.

The comparative strength of an ant

Isn’t necessary for the lion.

The cheetah, while the fastest runner,

Can’t outlast a wolf.
