Because I am a visual learner, I have gone through books of the Bible and drawn what the words mean to me. This makes me take them inside myself, figure out what God is saying personally to me today, and drawing it so that I can repeat his words accurately. The pictures (from Phillipians 4:6) help me remember and make it able for me tohold these words in my heart.
In the picture below, I was kneading bread, an activity I used to do weekly. Just like I kneaded all that day’s worries, fears, anticipations in bed each night. Then I changed myself into a sheaf of wheat which God was kneading into the kind of bread He wanted me to be right now. He is in control, His yeast is flowing through me, increasing in me, and pushing out the worry. I let God do the forming.

Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you’re on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute!
Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
(Phil. 4:4-7, MSG)
You made me—
all the delicate, inner parts of my body—
and knit me together in my mother’s womb. [Ps. 139:13]
You gave me a new heart and a new spirit.
You removed my stony,
stubborn heart
and gave me a tender, responsive one. [Ezek. 36:26]
Lord, I worship you
and offer everything that I am
as a living sacrifice to you.
I am transformed (in your eyes) and still, I am transforming. [Rom. 12:1-2]
Daily I confess my sins to you
and intercede for others—
praying for healing and grace.
I know You hear my prayers,
for You declare
the prayer of a righteous person to be powerful and effective. [Ja. 5:16]
