Life is a unified whole. All dimensions of life are a part of the whole reality of God’s truth and God’s creation, with fundamental laws that operate throughout all of them.

In physics we learn that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Every equation in math and every formula in chemistry must balance. Spiritual laws and natural laws are one and the same.

Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. Galatians 6:7–8 (NLT)

God’s laws are absolute and eternal—we sow sin and reap justice. But God’s love and mercy are also absolute and eternal—so while we continue to sow sin, justice has been satisfied as Jesus reaped the death we sow. God’s law is not cancelled or amended. It is fulfilled.
