Thoughts on Good Friday:

If Jesus were just asleep instead of lying dead on a slab in a tomb, he could:

stretch out his toes and touch me,

surprise me with his presence,

talk to me,

comfort and encourage me.

But he lived, died (for me), and rose again over 2000 years ago.

He is alive.

And he does all those things and more.
