Every event in history conspires to serve God’s purpose in creation:
(1) to provide a suitable habitat for the human race,
(2) which was created in His image in order to
(3) provide an eternal companion for the Son of God.

After the fall of man and the promise of redemption through the Messiah, this purpose continued in the birth and nurturing of the people of Israel—in order to bring the Redeemer into the world. And the purpose of this Messiah is to give birth to His church, His bride, His eternal companion.

The Church—we who are called-out, embodied images of God, redeemed humankind—is fashioned and controlled by God in His Story.
