Every day that we are alive on this planet, we are engaged in a spiritual battle. Scripture tells us that have an enemy who wants to seek, kill, accuse, and destroy. God calls the people He loves, gives them some level of training, and sends them into the most difficult battlegrounds in the world, promising that He will never leave or forsake them. The Lord always goes ahead of the people He loves and sends into battle, and He gives us the most powerful weapon. How does He call us to fight?
- We fight with deeds of loving kindness.
- We fight with prayer and service.
- We fight by choosing to be last, not first.
- We fight by pointing people to Jesus, not to ourselves.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.Romans 12:21, NLT
