Every day when I get up, I pick out my clothes to wear that day. Myu choice depends on the day’s activities, and I try to dress for the occasion. I may have to change my clothes multiple times in one day.
But, I choose more than my clothes. The picture below is a visual I drew to tell the message of Colossians 3:9-10. If I want to live what I believe, I need to choose my words and actions accordingly. I can’t do it myself, I need the Holy Spirit’s help. Kathie

Don’t lie to one another. You’re done with that old life. It’s like a filthy set of ill-fitting clothes you’ve stripped off and put in the fire. Now you’re dressed in a new wardrobe. Every item of your new way of life is custom-made by the Creator, with his label on it. All the old fashions are now obsolete. Words like Jewish and non-Jewish, religious and irreligious, insider and outsider, uncivilized and uncouth, slave and free, mean nothing. From now on everyone is defined by Christ, everyone is included in Christ. (Col. 3:9-11, MSG)
I dress each day in a habit of praise:
to You, my God,
the strength of my heart and my portion forever. [Ps. 73:26]
You have enabled me
to be a minister of Your new covenant,
which is not one of written laws,
but a covenant of the Spirit.
The old written covenant ends in death;
but under the new one, the Spirit gives me life. [2 Cor. 3:6]
I am your servant, Lord.
You chose me to know You,
to believe in You, and to understand
that You alone are God.
There is no other God—
there never has been,
there never will be.
You alone, yes You, are the Lord, and there is no other Savior. [Is. 43:10–1]
Teach me to live Your definition of love
SO THAT I can
be patient and kind,
humbly honor others,
forgive and live in peace,
and rejoice in truth.
Fill me with Your love;
that always protects,
always trusts,
always hopes, and always perseveres. [1 Cor. 13]
