God is beyond my understanding. God is beyond anything we can ever hope to comprehend. He IS. And God–our creator–loves us as a family and as individuals in that family. He loves you. He loves me. We have His promise of that love. And in hard times I cling to that promise, look back on my life to see His presence there, and proclaim, “Ebenezer” which means that up until this very moment God has never backed away from that promise and He won’t back away now. Read Psalm 22 the next time you are backed up against a wall, and with David you will come to proclaim “Ebenezer.”
