There’s a progression that continues throughout your lifetime here on earth. It starts when you acknowledge Jesus as your Lord and Savior; then you pursue your relationship with Him by reading His word, talking with Him, learning about Him, praising Him, thanking Him–rooting yourself in Him. And as you do, you start to live for Him and overflow with thanksgiving, even in the tough times. You bear His fruit.
