Does it matter what kinds of memories we store in our brains? Does it matter which memories I choose to think about over and over again?

Did you know that each time a memory comes into your working brain (your present thoughts), you have the power to think about it = make it stronger OR choose to think about something else = weaken the thought. It is helpful to have a replacement thought ready and practiced so that you can reject the thought that brings you to a negative place.
