Romans 8, ReGen Harmony

Depression has always lingered in my vicinity, since I was a young, and I learned to treasure and repeat outloud this truth: And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Even when I struggled with my emotions, I knew and clung to this truth. God planned and formed me in this unique pattern, and He said, “It is good.” I will believe in His love and that He has a purpose for me. And there I find peace.

Every day as I look around me, I see messages that God loves me, just like this one written in the sand. The beauty is that waves can never wash away this truth.
