Kathie’s Ephesus Dig: Ephesians 3:20-21

Praising God, using Paul’s words in these verses, changed my outlook from tired and pushing through to the end of the day to one of awe and peace.

20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. 21 Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.
Ephesians 3:20-21, NLT
GOD IS:
Mighty, powerful, able to do anything and everything (20)
God is so far beyond anything we can imagine and can/will do more than we can ask or imagine (20)
The church (His family) brings Him glory (21)
Generations will praise His n ame and thank him for salvation through His Son Jesus Christ (21)
All this was true, is true, and will be true forever (21)

As I focused on God in praise, I realized that I only have a glimpse of a very small picture of who He is. That made me think of this picture out of an adult coloring book that I use to relax.

Why do I praise God? Because He is so much more…in every way…than I can possible imagine. And Jesus loves me; this I know for the Bible tells me so.

Hallelu-Yah! with the words of Psalm 150 (The Message),

Hallelujah!
Praise God in his holy house of worship,
    praise him under the open skies;
Praise him for his acts of power,
    praise him for his magnificent greatness;
Praise with a blast on the trumpet,
    praise by strumming soft strings;
Praise him with castanets and dance,
    praise him with banjo and flute;
Praise him with cymbals and a big bass drum,
    praise him with fiddles and mandolin.
Let every living, breathing creature praise God!
    Hallelujah!
Amen.
