A Daily Dose of the Sun

How is a Christian like a lizard?
A lizard is a cold-blooded reptile that can’t make its own body heat. Instead, it depends on energy from the sun. In the early morning, a lizard is so cold it can hardly move. It slowly crawls out into the hot sun to
bask a while. When its body is toasty warm, it’s ready for action.

But they delight in the law of the Lord,

meditating on it day and night.

Psalm 1:2, NLT

How is a Christian like a lizard?
Without a daily dose of sun power, a lizard would die from the cold.
Without a daily dose of Son power, a Christian’s faith becomes cold and dead.
