Life is vapor, unmanageable,
unpredictable, and
terminal. 1
We are stuck in meaningless toil,
with an unknowable fate, and
human hopelessness. 3
We are governed by desires of
our mutinous flesh, leading
to hostility and death. 7
Under the powers of this dark world, 8
we are open to the devil’s schemes, 9
with only the world’s weapons. 10
Is that all there is to life: 11
frustration, fear, anger, 13
and curses? 15
Life is full of substance, hope,
radical transformation, and 2
faith eternal. 3
Life is a purposeful adventure; we 4
absorb the mind of Christ, and 5
receive Godly authority. 6
We are governed by the Holy Spirit
and obedient to His Will, leading
to life and peace. 7
Fighting war in the heavenly realms, 8
we wear the armor of God and 9
wield weapons of divine power. 10
Our lives are abundant and full: 12
liberated , joy-filled, free, 14
and blessed. 16
Our lives are transformed from fatalistic to faith-filled.
Death is not the end; in Jesus we are grave-busters.
In this world we will die, but our eternity is spent with God.

We praise and thank you, Heavenly Father, for your adopting us as your children and heirs.
As believers, we read Your words and confirm the status You have gives to us—IN LOVE AND GRACE.
Jesus, help us to learn and remember who we are—BECAUSE OF YOUR SACRIFICE AND VICTORY OVER DEATH. Holy Spirit, grant us Your power and authority to recover what the enemy has stolen from us (individually, as a community, as a nation, and as Christ’s church across the world)—AND LIVE IN YOUR WILL.
