Bible Doodle: Mark 5:36

A renowned synagogue leader approached Jesus. Although he was part of a group who opposed Jesus, he was desperate. His daughter was sick unto death, and Jesus had healed many who were beyond any human hope, so he came to Jesus for help. They were interrupted as Jesus did another miracle, and servants came to tell this man his daughter was already dead. It was too late to ask Jesus for help.
What did Jesus tell the man without hope? To read the rest of the story, turn to Mark 5 in your Bible.

By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that’s not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God’s grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise. (Romans 5:1-2, The Message)
