Refugees in History

Do we accept refugees into our country? Just some or all who request entry?

Where’s our compassion? When do we think about long-term issues?

Can our country be humanitarian and self-protective at the same time?

These aren’t new questions. I was reminded of this by a delightful blog, The Belgian Refugees of WW1, by Alma Alexander. You don’t need more words from me. Read hers.
