Almighty God, we come to you in prayer,
You are the Creator of everything
in heaven and on earth.
You made us, and we are Yours. (Psalm 100:3)
You made each one of us as eternal beings—
knitting together all the delicate, inner parts of our bodies
in our mothers’ wombs. [Psalm 139:13]
Thank you for creating us with beautiful, orderly design:
as clay jars holding incredible treasure, (2 Corinthians 4:7),
as earthly tents with eternal reality. (2 Corinthians 5:1)
We are not our own,
But we belong to,
We walk in relationship with,
our faithful Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:10-12)
We offer our lives to You, Lord, as living sacrifices. (Romans 12:1-2)
No matter the circumstances,
even in our weakest hour,
We turn our faces to You in praise, (Psalm 8)
So that, in Your light and love,
We can live in faith,
For You have placed in us all the faith we need. (Romans 23:3)
You hear our prayers
and respond with power and authority, (1 John 5:14-15)
So that we can capture and demolish every thought and pretense
that is not from You. (2 Corinthians 10:5)
And We can live
with You in Kingdom of God
on earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10)
Father, I cling to Your promise to love me:
and I am convinced
that nothing can ever separate me
from Your love. (Romans 8:38–39)
Amen and Amen.
