The Person in the Mirror

2 cookies, 3 people. Do I share?
Lots of friends, but I’m lonely. Do I invite?
She’s tired and sick. Do I help?
That’s really cool. Do I buy it for myself or for another?

How do I interact with the world?

When I think of what I want,
Give that.
Share that.

When I think of what I don’t want,
Do the alternative.
Share the alternative.

My world will mimic the person I see in the mirror.
What does my reflection show?
That is what I will receive.

As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart.
Proverbs 27:19
Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Luke 6:377-38, NIV
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Galatians 6:7-10. NIV
