We all get dressed, and some of us accessorize. We all gather whatever it is we will need to get us through the day. But do we remember the most important thing–do we start our days with praise?
Looking in the closet or the open dresser drawer can become a time to remind ourselves to wear a habit of praise–one that you feel against your skin and in your heart. One that is visible, audible, behavioral.
“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.”
Colossians 3:12 (NLT)
Hang this on your closet door and read it every morning. It will help you get ready for each day:
I need to wear more than clothing.
I need to be dressed in what I believe–to wear my PRAISE HABIT.
Put this on today:
I believe Jesus words are the foundation of my life.
I believe there is no limit to what God can do,
and I place no limits on his working in my life.
I believe the Holy Spirit is leading me on the right path
and without mistakes.
