I built my first version of this WordPress website in 2012. I know that today (March 1, 2024) because WordPress sent me a message to let me know it was my 12th anniversary with them. If you ask me, “how long,” in a few weeks, I will probably say, “a long time,” because my brain does not mark things with numbers, but with stories.
I marked today’s milestone with a story in poetic format. Thanks for trail-blazing with me. Kathie

The subject matter of my blog
mirrors the converging trails in my mind
that meander, loop, and cross,
with occasional traffic circles
to offer a change of direction.

Bible doodles and dad jokes,
history and Bible studies,
poetry and prose,
music and laughter,
and occasional homework entries.

The presence of God
overlays all my writing,
as His presence in my life
is my foundation and salvation,
my reason for being.
